Infectious disease care in Tabriz, prepared from wherever you are.
If you live outside Iran, you can send your test results and medical records before you travel, so the team knows your situation and what to expect.
Before you travel
Please send what you have. Clear copies are fine to start with. For an infection, the history matters as much as the tests.
- Laboratory results: blood and urine tests, and any culture and sensitivity reports (they show which germ was found and which antibiotics work on it)
- Imaging reports and images (X-ray, ultrasound, CT or MRI), if you have them
- A list of the medicines you take now, and every antibiotic you have taken for this problem, with dates and how long you took each one
- Reports of earlier visits, hospital stays or operations, and your allergies and long-term conditions
- Your travel history, with places and dates, and any contact with farm animals or unpasteurised dairy
Send these through our international support line on WhatsApp or by phone: +989302272111

Practical questions
Can the doctor tell me what is wrong from my records alone?
Not always. Records help the doctor see what has already been done and what is still missing, but a diagnosis usually needs your history, an examination and sometimes new tests. The final decision is made after you have been seen.
I have a fever that will not go away. Should I wait until I can travel?
No. If you have any warning signs, such as confusion, very fast breathing, a stiff neck or a rash that does not fade when pressed, get urgent care where you are now. Do not wait for a trip or a reply.
Is my information kept private?
This page cannot make a promise about that. Before you send anything, ask the support team how your records are stored and who can see them. You have a right to ask.
How long would I need to stay in Tabriz?
It depends on which tests are needed and how long they take, and on your treatment. The doctor will give an estimate once your records have been reviewed.
Can a companion come with me?
Yes, companions are welcome. The support team can help with their accommodation too.
What about language?
An interpreter can be arranged if you need one. Please tell us your language when you contact us.
How do I pay?
Payment details are explained with your plan, before you decide to travel.
What number do I call in an emergency?
115 is the emergency number inside Iran. It works only while you are in Iran. From abroad, use your local emergency number.
Every patient's treatment plan is different; ask your doctor about your own situation.
